Sometimes in your roadmap it is useful to include your target customers. Ask yourself:

  • Do you have distinct customer types with different needs?

  • Is it important to achieve balance in addressing the needs of each?

  • Conversely, are there one or two customer types that are more important?

  • Will clarifying the customer type be helpful in guiding stakeholder conversations?
